We do not hold any healthcare records.

The images we hold of patients are anonymised as far as possible. Express written consent was given for each recording, in accordance with NHS visual recording policy. We also reproduce images of patients from third parties under Creative Commons licences. This is done in good faith and we are not responsible for consent and other issues for such recordings.  

We do not share the contact details of any contributors, competition entrants or editors with any third parties not involved with the administration of the website. Competition entrants' personal details are deleted after the competition in question.

Contributors are free to withdraw their names from the site at any time. They should note that any accepted contributions become part of the site when they are posted: the editorial team reserves the right to retain such contributions on the website.
